After announcing that they are working on the 508, a car which is going to replace the 607 and the 407, Peugeot announced that they are working on a successor for their 207, which is going to be called Peugeot 208. The Peugeot 208 is going to be released in 2012 and will probably show a new design line which will also be used on the 508.
Under the hood, the 208 will feature new fuel efficient powerplants and the car will also come with a start/stop system which will further improve the car’s fuel consumption. The French carmaker hasn’t released other details about the successor of the 207, but we will probably get more information about it in the upcoming months.
